lululemon at Mall of America holds a group-interview hiring night on Nov. 2, starting with a workout

TLDR: lululemon's Mall of America store is hiring with a 2-hour evening event on Monday, Nov. 2. Candidates do a round of "mindful movement" and then a group interview.

Most job interviews don't start with stretching. This one does. lululemon is holding a hiring event at its Mall of America store from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, according to the mall's events calendar. The event takes place at the brand's experiential store inside the mall.

The format follows the brand. The listing invites candidates to take part in "mindful movement before a group interview" and pitches the job this way: "lululemon is built on movement and connection; providing you with #joblove you are looking for!" If you've been to one of the store's community workouts, expect something along those lines, followed by questions. It's probably smart to dress so you can actually move.

The listing doesn't say which jobs are open. It also doesn't give pay or say how many people the store plans to hire. It doesn't list a cost either, and a job interview you pay to attend would be a strange way to recruit. To get a spot, the listing tells candidates to reserve one through Eventbrite. The store's Eventbrite page lists its upcoming events, so that's the place to sign up and find any details the mall's calendar leaves out.

The timing makes sense. The event falls just ahead of the holiday shopping season, when stores at the mall are filling shifts. The 6 p.m. start on a Monday also means someone with a day job can make it without taking time off.
