Bloomington AI ("we") keeps this simple. This site has no user accounts, no logins, and no sign-up forms. We don't ask you for personal information, and we don't sell or rent visitor data to anyone.

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people read and how the site is performing — aggregate traffic, roughly where visits come from, which stories are popular. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data such as your approximate location and device/browser, governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We use this only to improve the site, not to identify individual readers.

You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Some pages embed public meeting video from YouTube using its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which avoids setting tracking cookies unless you press play. Links out to other sites (source citations, business websites, X posts) are governed by those sites' own privacy policies once you click through.
