Bloomington AI exists so anyone in Bloomington, Minnesota can find out what's going on in their city, in one place: what the City Council decided, what's on the ballot, what's happening this weekend, and whether to bring a jacket.
Most of what happens in a city is already public. It's just scattered across meeting videos, agendas, press releases, calendars and feeds that few people have time to follow. Bloomington AI uses AI to keep up with all of it as a service to the community, and links back to every source.
Bloomington AI isn't affiliated with the City of Bloomington, Mall of America, or any government body. Other outlets' reporting is always credited and linked, never republished.
Every story links the sources it was written from, so you can always check the original. If something is wrong, out of date, or missing, contact us. We read every message and fix the story as soon as we can.
