Jack Brewer will speak at the Republican Seniors of Minnesota meeting July 14 at 10 a.m. at the Bloomington Event Center, 1114 American Blvd. W. His topic: race issues in America.
Brewer played 21 games as a defensive back for the Vikings and also suited up as a defensive back and wide receiver at the University of Minnesota. He's now a Fox News contributor whose political path has zigzagged — he backed Barack Obama early on before becoming a Donald Trump supporter.
Doors open with sign-in at 9:30 a.m. under the group's usual format, with the program running from 10 a.m. Admission runs $5 for members and $10 for non-members, and the session will be live streamed and archived on the organization's site for anyone who can't make it in person.
