Nickelodeon Universe is going back to Bikini Bottom. A new SpongeBob SquarePants-themed attraction called Dutchman's Deck is coming to the Mall of America park in 2027.
Longtime mall-goers will recognize the name. The park already has a Dutchman's Deck Adventure Course. It has 3 parts. The Ghostly Gangplank is a Sky Trail ropes course that the mall bills as the tallest in the world, climbing 56 feet above the park. Anchor Drop is a spiral slide with a 40-inch height minimum. Barnacle Blast is what the mall calls the longest indoor zip line in North America, sending riders 55 feet above the rides below.
The mall's directory page for the course lists prices: $19.99 for the full course, or $15 added onto a Nickelodeon Universe wristband, with single attractions running $4.99 to $16.99. That page says nothing about the 2027 version. The park's own new-rides page doesn't either. It still features Fly with Appa, the Avatar: The Last Airbender ride.
