If someone in your house can name every PAW Patrol pup and their vehicle, this weekend's plans may be settled. Mall of America has a Halloween Character Meet & Greet with PAW Patrol on its events calendar. It runs Friday, Oct. 16, through Sunday, Oct. 18, at Nickelodeon Universe.
The pups will be in costume, too. Per the mall's listing, Marshall is dressed as a pumpkin, Chase as a superhero, Skye as a princess and Rubble as a rock 'n' roll star. The mall's tagline for the event: "No costume is too big, no pup is too small!" That reads as a pretty clear invitation to bring the kids in their own costumes.
You don't need to register. The mall lists it as a walk-up event. Neither the mall nor Nickelodeon Universe has posted a price or exact meet times, and the park doesn't say which characters appear on which day. If you're planning around a nap schedule, call the park at 952-883-8800 or check the event page closer to the weekend. Mall hours are 10 a.m.–9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m.–7 p.m. on Sunday.
The meet & greet is one part of Nickelodeon Booniverse, the park's Halloween season, which runs through Oct. 31. That season also includes the Fright Lights light show and the Shock and Ride dance parties on Friday nights. More characters are coming: Dora and Boots have their own Halloween meet & greet Oct. 23–26. Pumpkin Carvers and NICK@FRIGHT are on Oct. 23–24, and a Toddler Tuesdays Treat Trail is set for Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to noon.
