Tuesday felt borrowed from another month: a high of 66° and a low of 53° at MSP, with 0.73" of rain. Wednesday doesn't dry anything out.
Rain is likely overnight (70% chance), with patchy fog and a low around 52. Wednesday is close to a sure thing: a 90% chance of rain, areas of fog, mostly cloudy skies and a high near 55, with a west-northwest wind at 5 to 10 mph. The National Weather Service says each stretch could add a tenth to a quarter inch of new rain.
Fog on wet pavement means a slower commute. Use your headlights and leave extra following distance. Trails and park grass were already soaked Tuesday, so today is fine for a raincoat walk and bad for anything involving a picnic blanket.
Wednesday night has a 100% chance of precipitation. Expect rain and patchy fog before midnight, then likely drizzle between midnight and 5am. The low drops to around 45, and the north-northwest wind picks up to 10 to 15 mph.
Thursday stays mostly cloudy with a high near 49. Friday is the payoff: sunny, with a high near 46. It'll be colder, but you'll actually see the sky.
