The cast, spanning fifth through ninth grade, performs the Disney musical Friday through Sunday, July 9-11, at Oak Grove Middle School, 1300 W. 106th St. Evening shows are at 7 p.m. all three nights, with an additional 3 p.m. matinee on Sunday, July 11, per the Sun Current.
The junior version of the story follows Belle and the Beast, along with a household of enchanted furniture. Leading roles include ninth-grader Milana Carbonara as Belle, ninth-grader Filia Forstner as Lumiere, eighth-grader Alex Fairweather as Cogsworth, ninth-grader Kim Torres Perez as Lefou, eighth-grader William Copeland as Baker, fifth-grader Julia Blessing as Chip and ninth-grader Evelyn Blessing as Mrs. Potts, according to the Sun Current.
Rounding out the cast are seventh-grader Lucas Wenger as narrator and villager, and eighth-graders Amelia Jung, Julianna Lucic and Lita Speaker as villagers, the paper reported.
