Artists from around the country are showing up in Bloomington this week for the 2026 National Art Exhibition, a juried show organized by the Minnesota Valley Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America's Kouba Gallery in association with Artistry.
The opening reception is Friday, July 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hilton hotel, 3800 American Blvd. E. Expect live entertainment and a chance to hear artists talk about their own pieces.
After the party, the art itself stays put: the show runs through July 30 at the Kouba Gallery, 6601 Auto Club Road, with original work spanning painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, fiber arts and mixed media. Admission is free.
More details are on the show’s event page or at koubagallery.org.
