WWE brought some of its roster to Mall of America on July 15 to kick off the SummerSlam Teacher Supply Drive, a statewide push to stock Minnesota classrooms before the new school year. Superstars Chad Gable, Otis and Je'Von Evans joined local educators, including Minnesota's 2023 Teacher of the Year Michael Houston and Harambee Elementary's Sabrina Jones, for the launch.
Blaze Credit Union kicked things off with a $10,000 donation and is serving as the drive's statewide collection partner, alongside Minnesota Sports and Events, Mall of America and the Kids In Need Foundation.
Anyone who wants to pitch in can drop off new school supplies at any of Blaze Credit Union's 29 branches across Minnesota, or give money directly at mnsportsandevents.org/donate, through August 1. The drive wraps with a public SummerSlam Supply Drop event back at Mall of America on August 1, timed to SummerSlam weekend, when WWE's marquee summer show takes over U.S. Bank Stadium August 1 and 2.
