Mall of America has added a new installment of its free Toddler Tuesdays LIVE series to the events calendar: Mini Mia x Artful Arches, presented by PNC. The listing pairs two things already happening at the mall this summer — the monthly toddler program and the Artful Arches art installation — with a dose of programming borrowed from the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
Toddler Tuesdays LIVE normally runs on the second Tuesday of each month at the Huntington Bank Rotunda, free to attend, with a different theme, guest or activity each time — think character appearances, arts and crafts, story time and performances. This edition borrows its format from Mini Mia, the Minneapolis Institute of Art's free program for kids up to age 5 that combines simple art-making, a caregiver-friendly gallery experience and a short movement class.
The tie-in to Artful Arches gives the event a built-in backdrop: the installation has been up in the mall's atrium since April 24 and is scheduled to come down July 26.
