The Big Bounce America is setting up in the Mall of America's East Lot for two weekends this summer: July 25-26, then again August 1-2. It's a traveling inflatable festival that bills itself as home to the world's largest bounce house, and the Bloomington stop covers more than 50,000 square feet of air-filled attractions.
Beyond the giant bounce house, the lineup includes a 900-foot obstacle course, giant slides, ball pits, climbing towers, and themed zones — an alien-world area called airSPACE and a sports arena called Sport Slam among them. Live DJs keep a dance-party vibe going throughout.
Both Saturdays run 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays run 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the day broken into dedicated time slots by age group, including a session set aside just for adults. Tickets start at $35 for a three-hour pass and go on sale through the event's own site, where organizers warn slots tend to sell out.
