Mall of America has a new booth this summer, and it's not selling anything — it's giving something away. The MNSE Golden Ticket booth, set up outside Culinary on North near Piada, is running a raffle where five winners will each receive two tickets apiece to more than 50 Minnesota sporting events during the 2026-27 season, spanning the Golden Gophers, Timberwolves, Lynx, Wild, Frost and Minnesota United FC.
The raffle is run by Minnesota Sports and Events, the Bloomington-based organization that bills itself as the regional sports commission for Bloomington, Minneapolis and St. Paul. MNSE is the group behind efforts to land major events in the metro, including the 2026 WWE SummerSlam and the 2028 NFL Draft, and the mall says the raffle helps fund the work that brings nationally and internationally significant sporting events to the state.
The booth runs August 1 through September 18, with hours that shift by day of the week: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays. There's no listed entry fee, and the mall's event page doesn't spell out an exact ticket price for the raffle — anyone curious about the fine print will want to stop by the booth in person, since there's no online sign-up option.
It's a low-key addition to the mall's calendar, but for anyone who's spent a summer weekend dodging strollers on the way to Nickelodeon Universe, it's an easy detour: five minutes at a booth for a shot at a season's worth of Minnesota sports.
