Lulus is turning its Mall of America pop-up into a flower shop for a day. The retailer's "Bloom Bar" event runs Friday, July 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., inviting shoppers to build their own bouquet while browsing the store's dresses and accessories.
Lulus opened its first-ever physical store at MOA in May, taking a spot at 102 North Garden on Level 1. The brand, known online for affordable occasion wear, stocked the pop-up with cocktail and formal dresses, wedding-guest and bridesmaid looks, summer dresses, rompers, jewelry and handbags — most of it timed to prom and wedding season. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The pop-up is billed as a limited run, so the Bloom Bar looks like a one-off promotional event rather than a recurring one. MOA's event listing doesn't post a price for the flowers or say whether the bouquets are free with purchase, so anyone curious about cost should check in when they arrive Friday.
