The kids' craft mecca on the mall's east side is clearing out the strollers tonight for Crayola Experience After Dark, an 18-and-older event running 6 to 9 p.m. with a 1990s theme.
One ticket gets adults into a craft workshop to build a trinket tray, with sessions starting at 6:30 and 7 p.m., plus access to more than 20 of the attraction's hands-on stations that are normally packed with kids. A DJ will spin 90s hits, and there's a cash bar along with food available for purchase.
Tickets run $34.99 plus tax and are sold through the mall's ticketing site. The event is billed as "how adults craft and play" — Crayola's spin on a grown-up version of the museum-style attraction inside Mall of America at 2131 Lindau Lane.
