Holiday makeup season at Mall of America started before Halloween this year. The CHANEL Fragrance and Beauty Boutique is running "A CHANEL Holiday Makeup Look Tutorial" from Thursday, Oct. 15, through Sunday, Nov. 15, according to the mall's events calendar.
The tutorial covers the brand's limited-edition Holiday 2026 Collection and shows you how to do "The Crystal Pink Look" yourself. The CHANEL Makeup Creation Studio says the look captures "the energy of a day spent in the great outdoors": a frost-kissed complexion, shimmering golden eye makeup and a natural, ultra-shiny lip. So think après-ski, not office party.
This isn't a show you just drop in on. The listing sends people to a "Book Now" link on CHANEL's boutique appointment page, so plan on reserving a time. The mall's page doesn't list session times, how long a session lasts or whether there's a charge. If price matters to you, ask when you book.
Some background on what you'll be looking at: CHANEL calls the collection "Enchanted Winter," and it went on sale Oct. 15, the same day the tutorial started. In the look, a cream-to-powder blush in Mont Rose goes on the center of the cheeks for a rosy, frost-kissed effect. A satin taupe goes on the lids, with a shimmery gold on the inner corners.
Fair warning if you're thinking of buying afterward: the products are priced like CHANEL. The Mont Rose blush is $60, the Neige D'Or illuminating powder is $100 and the Les 4 Ombres eyeshadow quad in Ombre D'Or is $90. A Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss trio in Givre, Etincelle and Aura costs $145. Whether you walk out with a bag is up to you.
