World Market in Bloomington, MN

World Market is a home-furnishings and imported-food store on West 78th Street, just west of France Avenue and a few blocks north of I-494. It shares the block with Trader Joe's, Michaels, Marshalls and Total Wine, which makes it an easy stop on the same errand run. The store carries furniture and home decor (dining tables, chairs, rugs, lighting, pillows, outdoor furniture and seasonal decorations), much of it imported or made by hand. The rest of the floor is a market of international snacks, candy, coffee and tea, pasta sauces and pantry staples from around the world, popular for gifts and party supplies. Orders placed on World Market's website can be picked up free at the Bloomington store, and the chain also delivers. It is one of two World Market stores in Minnesota; the other is in Maple Grove, about 12 miles northwest.
